This Is The Summer Of Gucci

My constant obsession and hunt for the quintessential summer items continues, and I find myself needing to remember that my budget for a very specific summer-themed bag allows for a single bag versus an entirely new wardrobe. Nevertheless, the heart wants what it wants, and I think this summer is the summer that designer brands have truly perfected their summer offerings, including one of my favorite brands, Gucci.

With the theme in mind, the brand launched Gucci Summer Stories, which begins at Loulou Ramatuelle in Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera. An entire lounge area on the shore is set up with every Gucci touch needed to help define this special setting.

As for the bags and entire offering, well, it’s pretty magical. Bright colors, raffia detailing, contrasting materials, and unexpected yet ideal pairings make this some of Gucci’s best offerings. It’s a measured mix of playful and wearable, and though some still choose to opt for an overall neutral wardrobe, the move toward more patterns and colors has been seen, and these items are the ideal additions. It was hard for me to pick my favorites, but in my dream world, the one in which I have a yacht waiting for me next to Saint-Tropez, here are the many Gucci items I would be packing and wearing.
